Chris joined IMB in 2025 and is the Director of Business Development. In his 10-year career, Chris has worked in investment banking, capital markets, research and business development.

Prior to IMB, Chris was a Vice President with 890 5th Avenue Partners, where he was responsible for originating, evaluating, and negotiating transactions across various special purpose acquisition companies. Before 890 5th Avenue Partners, Mr. Buffone worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Landmark Ventures, where he focused on buy-side and sell-side M&A, and equity and debt-capital raises for technology, media and telecommunications companies.

Mr. Buffone received his BA in American Studies from Georgetown University.
